About Us

We opened our doors in August 2017 in the heart of the beautiful city of Valletta we call home

Since then we have had the pleasure of welcoming people from different countries, backgrounds and industries. We are pleased to say our lives have been enriched through the community we have built, and hope after some time with us you can say the same.

Both of our sites are a stone’s throw from Saint George’s Square at the very centre of Valletta. One is on the quiet mainly residential Archbishop Street and is a typical Maltese townhouse, full of character and featuring a central courtyard providing plenty of natural light and a rooftop terrace with stunning views across the Grand Harbour towards the 3 Cities. The other site is on top of the Marks and Spencer Building on buzzing Strait Street. It’s an open plan double height 220m2 super modern space with plenty of bare timber and exposed metal framework. Its terrace overlooks Marsamxett Harbour with views towards Sliema

The day to day running of the office is generally in the hands of Iain and Sarah. Ollie and Millie the dogs also chip in by giving everyone a warm and enthusiastic welcome. They’d love to meet your dogs so bring them in!

Grand Central – Strait Street is a great co-working space! The decor is modern, light and spacious. In the kitchen you’ll find free hot drinks and there’s plenty of space on the rooftop balconies to enjoy the view, take a call or get to know your fellow co-workers. I highly recommend Grand Central.

Grand Central changed my life — seriously! When I moved to Malta from the US, I didn’t know anyone, and making friends in a new country as an adult is not easy.When I started working at Grand Central, I was warmly welcomed into a diverse, fun community and made the most incredible friends who I’ll have for life. It completely changed my experience in Malta for the better.The space itself is clean and modern with amazing views and fantastic natural lighting. It’s a pleasure to work there. The owner, Iain, couldn’t be more helpful or generous.If you’re looking for a coworking space, I can’t recommend Grand Central enough!

We had a good time working at Grand Central. It is well located in Valletta and the view from the balcony was amazing! Everything was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The WiFi served my purposes well. I had to take part in a few online appointments. Often it was possible to go in a cabin, kitchen or on the balcony, so that I (hopefully) didn’t disturb the others.Iain and his two cute office dogs made sure that I felt well 🙂 I can recommend you to work at Grand Central even for a few days.The only thing that might won’t work for everybody is that you cannot come in earlier than 8.45 if you have a Drop-in pass.Thanks a lot!

I’ve trialed a few co-working places in Malta in search of a quiet place to work where I feel welcome and relaxed but not bothered and this was the only one that fit. I also needed a place with extremely stable internet as I work in the financial industry. They have a dual connection which I’ve found to be very fast and reliable. A great lounge to relax or eat and two roof terraces overlooking the city. It is located in the center of Valletta so you have easy access to anything you would need nearby for a break. The added benefit of a shower is great if you are working but have an event or meeting later to attend. You can freshen up and continue on your way. Definitely a great place to work!

Perfect place to drop in for a day and get some work done! Staff is amazing and the place is very well equipped with superb internet! One of the best coworking spots I’ve visited around the world, alongside a very relaxing terrace for small breaks.
